How to Draw a Bear in 6 Easy Steps

If you want to learn how to draw a bear, you’ve come to the right place. I break this cute bear drawing down into simple shapes and easy to follow steps, making it an easy bear drawing that anyone can learn.

Your finished bear drawing should look something like this:

Step 1: Draw a Pear Shape

It’s not quite as simple as a circle, but I know you can handle it. Draw a pear shape. This will be the main body of your bear.

Step 2: Draw the Ears

A couple of half circles make perfect ears for a bear. Draw them in and erase any overlapping lines.

Step 3: Draw the Bear’s Eyes

Draw two full circles for eyes. I chose to give my bear some angry eyebrows. You can make him sad or happy if you want.

Step 4: Give the Bear a Mouth

This step is a little complicated, but don’t get stressed you got this. Start by drawing the snout then wrap it around to the bottom lip. Add some teeth and tongue and you’re all finished. That wasn’t so hard was it?

Step 5: Draw the Bear’s Arms and Legs

Arms and legs are pretty easy. No need to mess with fingers and toes, I just draw thick noodles. You could add claws or something if you’re feeling creative.

Step 6: Add the Details

Time for the best part… the details. I added random scratches and dots to give him texture as usual. Then I randomly added little tufts of fur to make him seem kinda fuzzy. I also gave him paw pads, and added a line around his muzzle.
