How to Draw a Submarine
Learn to Draw a Submarine in 5 Easy to Follow Steps
If you are a beginner looking to learn how to draw a submarine, you clicked the right link.
My name’s Austin, and I’ve spent the last six hours studying submarines to come up with the simplest way to draw one. After a ton of studying, I’ve come up with five easy steps that will help you draw a submarine in no time.
The submarine drawing for people who don’t wanna read the whole thing:

Step 1: Draw an Oval
You know how much I love simple shapes. They make drawing stuff super simple and easy.
which is why…
Step one of drawing a submarine is to draw a simple oval.

Step 2: Draw Some Windows
Step two is to draw some windows and other simple details. I’m trying to give this submarine fish vibes, so after this step, you should start to see it come together.

Step 3: Draw the Periscope
Draw the periscope so our submarine can see above the water. Just a bunch of simple shapes. A rounded rectangle for the “sail” (the thing the periscope sits on). The Periscope itself is an upside-down “L” with a rounded square on the end, also there is an antenna there if you wanna draw it.

Step 4: Draw the Fins and Propeller
I wanted this submarine to kinda look like a giant fish. So, I made the propeller and fins look like fish fins.

Step 5: Draw the Details
As usual, the last step is to scratch it up. Add small details and clean up your lines so it looks like you know what you’re doing.

Bonus Step: Color and Shade the Sub
Pick a light source and stick to it when you highlight and shade. I used my signature colors, but you can do whatever you want.

If you actually read this, that’s cool! If you only looked at the pictures, that’s cool too. I appreciate your time either way.
