How to Draw a Rocket Ship (5 Easy Steps)
Learn to Draw a Rocket Ship in 5 Easy to Follow Steps
Drawing a rocket ship can feel pretty hard when you’re first starting out. Rocket ships have so many parts and components, it can be hard to keep track of everything. However, once you break it down into simple shapes, it’s actually much easier than it looks.
Luckily for you…
I’ve used my years of experience to break it down into five easy-to-follow steps, so beginners can learn how to draw a rocket ship without overthinking it.
The final rocket ship drawing for people who don’t wanna read the whole thing:

Step 1: Draw a Triangle
If there is one thing you should know about me by now, it’s that I like to keep drawings simple using basic shapes
And that’s why…
The first step to drawing a rocket ship is to draw a long triangle. This will be the main hull of the rocket ship.

Step 2: Draw a Rocket Thruster
Draw the rocket’s propulsion system on the back of the triangle. The letter “c” is the best way I can describe this shape.

Step 3: Draw the Wings
Are these things called wings? I’m not really sure, but I draw them anyway.

Step 4: Draw the CockPit
Time to add a cockpit to our rocket ship drawing. A circle makes a really good cockpit if you ask me. I also added a line to the front of the rocket ship at this point. It makes it look fancy.

Step 5: Draw the Details
As usual, the last step to any drawing is to scratch it up. Make sure it looks like you know what you’re doing.

Bonus Step: Color and Shade the Rocket Ship
Nothing new here. Pick some cool colors, add some shadows and highlights, and you’ll have a pretty cool looking rocket ship drawing.

If you actually read this that’s cool! If you only looked at the pictures, that’s cool too. I appreciate your time either way.
