How to Draw a Christmas Ornament in 5 easy Steps
If you want to learn how to draw a Christmas ornament, then you are in the right place. I make drawing a breeze by breaking it down into easy to follow steps. I also use simple shapes that anyone can draw. That way, even you can learn how to draw a Christmas ornament.
The final Christmas ornament drawing will look like this:

Step 1: Draw a circle
The first step of learning to draw a Christmas ornament is pretty obvious. Just draw a circle. The circle doesn’t have to be perfect. In fact, I prefer a wonky circle because it gives the drawing more character and tends to hide “mistakes.” If you want a perfect circle, just trace a cup or something.

Step 2: Draw the cap
The next thing this ornament needs is a cap. This one is kinda tough to describe, so take a look at the shape below and just draw that. I don’t think anyone even actually reads these. If you do let me know in an IG comment and I’ll send you a sticker.

Step 3: Let’s give this ornament a Mouth
Right now, you have a completely finished Christmas ornament, so you can stop here if you want. If you want a super cool ornament, then it’s time to give it a mouth. Draw a curved mouth shape line.

Step 4: Draw the Teeth
I’m gonna give this Christmas ornament some teeth. Draw a bunch of circles inside the mouth. Those will be the teeth. After that, connect them to the ornament with some curved lines.

Step 5: Draw the Details
Time to make this Christmas ornament look super cool. Draw some random scratches and dots all over your drawing to make it look aged and weathered, and you’re all done. Nice!!

Bonus Step: Color the Christmas ornament
Don’t stop here. It’s time to color your Christmas ornament drawing. First, pick some flat colors. Then choose a light source and keep it consistent as you shade and highlight.

Wow, if you made it all the way down here, you’re probably better than me at drawing Christmas ornaments. Thanks for reading!
